The revision to the EWPMA lays a legal foundation for preventing and managing wild bird strikes against windows in public institutions.
Not all buildings are subject to the Act, but nearly a quarter million public buildings will now begin to address the issue of strikes. Multiple prefecture governments have been making ordinances, but this passage provided National-level institutions to investigate the damage in public institutions and apply prevention and reduction measures.
